Great podcast!
Great podcast that introduced me to the Manga world and Gomez!
I have discovered and enjoy learning Manga through Shonen Flop
This podcast is full of energy and it is obvious that David and Jordan are true experts of manga. I knew about anime for years and they take understanding manga to the next level. A great addition to the New York City podcast network.
Freaking love these guys!
Love this podcast!! It’s great!
Not even a manga fan…
and I still loved it! Completely out of my element here but really enjoyed y’all getting passionate about your dislike of Build King. Y’all are hilarious. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed it. Already told a few friends about y’all. :)
LOVING this pod!
This is such a great pod! I am a huge Anime and Manga fan! I used to hide my manga under my bed from my friends, but my pile got so big it no longer fit! (sadly, my mom threw them all out when we moved) This is such a great pod, I love the unique take on this, and I will definitely be back for more!
Some of the manga covered in this show may not have done well commercially, but this show is definitely a success. I listened to the episode featuring Geoff Thew & as an avid fan of Mother's Basement, I think David & Jordan do a great job of discussing "Look Back" with him. They all have a great energy & it's clear they enjoy recording the show. As someone who is just now getting more into manga, after being an anime fan for years, I'll definitely be using this podcast to help me find more manga to read.
Where's this Flop of which you speak?

Brilliant idea
This is one of those ideas that is so smart you think there must be a million like it. But there is only one Shonen Flop. Dave and Jordan make it feel like you're hanging out with your friends and their insight is amazing. I don't even read manga and I love the show.
Nice concept
Interesting and unique premise that leads to quality discussion!
Excellent show!
Discovered these guys through Twitter, and so glad I came across them. A lot to enjoy from the hosts, especially as a fan of manga, and lots to discover too! Would recommend!
Fun with Failed Manga
I downloaded an episode just to see what this podcast was about and had to keep downloading because it was such addictive fun. The guys know their subject and give great analysis of each release they review. If you want to know which flop to try and which to avoid, they will tell you. Definitely earns their E tag though if that is something that you look out for.
A delightful journey into a genre I am completely unfamiliar with. These two make it not only fun but enjoyable to come back to. This show is the epitome of what it means to step out of your comfort zone and try something new to listen to. True enjoyment!
